Adverbs Done

Phew! What a task. 44 revision! And a lot of switching between Sanskrit and English. Had to look up means for words he didn’t translate. So it all took quite a while. I’d say close to 4 hours. I ended up paraphrasing the great majority of the adverb section from Whitney’s grammar. There is a lot of information there, and while his text is difficult to read at first and strangely organized, I have grown to appreciate what a monumental work it is. The adverb page is quite long and perhaps there is too much information there, but this is an important part of the language that needs to be covered thoroughly. He said adverbially.

The question is: what next? Comparatives seems a shorter, easier topic. Besides that, I need to get to practicing. I have been doing the first chapter of the Yoga Sūtra, which is difficult, but rewarding. I need to finish that and find other practice texts.
